Demonstrations are good unifiers and motivators, but the ONLY way to win is via electoral politics, and when 48% are comfy with fascism it means we have to get out of our drum circle and awaken those we can ... it's retail politics and requires patience, tact and persistence, with individuals.

The Dems argument around the cloture vote is about tactics more than more than principles - neither could stop the Republicans' devastation of the executive branch. Move on!

THE INDIGO RISING We MUST BE about people standing up for a Democracy of People, a Republic for the people, with elections by votes, not dollars, and with all three branches of the Government of the U.S.A working to serve the interests of all, with no favor. Not "Blue," nor "Red," but INDIGO.

I am a retired civil litigator for workers. Why doesn't a DOJ atty, when ordered to obey bad faith/groundless/lawfully unsupportable actions, simply refuse, get fired, then litigate a for a finding the order and firing was in bad faith, against ethics, and thus is unlawful?

It is truly bizarre to see the developments crawling from terror to chaos to the disarray of institutions to the exposure of the anarchic vacuum of fascist dreams to - my hopes of some sort of restoration of democratic norms.... it all depends on the people and judiciary...

The usa needs to be humbled but not hijacked. We'll see if our people are able to awake from their ugly dreams of fear and weakness to see our strength in sharing instead of dreaming of domination.

I keep seeing political ads for candidates who proclaim they're "progressive" and "not career politicians," but farmers or mechanics or carpenters or child-care workers.
