Some views on returning Rays pitchers from Adam Berry:
If the Blue Jays can't avoid arbitration with Vladdy, that might be the tipping point for a massive downhill slide for a franchise that once had so much promise.

It also makes it hard to believe they were really in on these free-agent misses.

It's a big day for Toronto.

Why I'm in:

- usually solid except in 2024
- was running last year
- was playing through injury
- BA help

Why I'm worried:

- injuries to the same leg (knee, quad, calf)
- never pulls the ball
- avg power with possible speed
- how is he fixing leg?

ADP - 144, 14th SS
I always worry about Munoz holding up physically.
I could see the Cubs going out and signing their closer though.
Using ADP, what's the latest closer you'd feel most comfortable with drafting as your RP1?
Great list here. Getting any of them healthy for a full season would be a major upgrade in their talent and likely an opening to their upside.
I hope so. The surgery SHOULD help him stay on the field.

That said, 144 GP in 2023 and 154 GP in 2022. The pain just became too unbearable for him to even function on a daily basis.
Since his disastrous 2022 season, Jose Berrios:

- 64 GS
- 382.0 IP
- 3.63 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 7.9 K/9, 2.5 BB/9
- 11 starts with 5+ ER allowed
- 10 starts with 0 ER allowed

All pretty much around his career totals.
Mitch Keller 2023-2024:

1st half: 3.39 ERA
2nd half: 5.62 ERA

ADP - 280
Shohei Ohtani stats as a hitter on the days where he was pitching as well:

2023

31/83 - .373, 7 HR, 15 RBI, 18 BB, 16 K, 1 SB

Combined

57/184 - .310, 9 HR, 30 RBI, 30 BB, 36 K, 3 SB
Luis Robert (27) in five seasons:

467 GP
708 team GP
66% GP

Most GP in a season: 148
Seasons with 500+ PA: 1
Seasons with 20+ HR: 1
Seasons with 20+ SB: 2
Seasons with > lg avg BA: 3
Seasons with <= lg avg k%: 2
Seasons with <= lg avg bb%: 1
Trips to IL: five (7 with COVID)
Who will have an "Out of Nowhere" healthy season where they can surprisingly stay healthy?

Jazz Chisholm Jr. - 147 GP in 2024
Luis Robert Jr. - 145 GP in 2023
Mike Trout - 119 GP in 2022
Tyler O'Neill - 138 GP in 2021

And what label can I give this? The Cowboy Bob Orton?
Question for all:

When a player gets injured, what do you want/need to see happen for you to regain trust in his status and future health?

Be as general or as specific as you would like to be with regard to position, injury-type, timeframe, player and team etc.

If the Cubs trade for or sign a frontline starter, do you think they have enough talent to win the World Series?
After yesterday's two trades, which player(s) get a fantasy boost for 2025?
After yesterday's two trades, which player(s) take a fantasy hit for 2025?
I’ll try and make a graph about the reasons at a later date.

You’re not wrong. It happens!
