My son and my late dad’s birthdays’ are today. Dad would’ve been 72. My son had a great day celebrating at both my and his dad’s house. 😂 Awe the perks of having separated parents. 😆 Also, I can laugh about it cuz his dad and I get along swimmingly 💗🥳

When I learned how damaging the r word is to the disabled community I erased it from my vocabulary and that was 15 years ago AND I was late to the game. The POTUS should know better but he doesn’t know sh*t and has proven to be a piece of sh*t.

When I was 4 or 5 I had a matching set of underwear and tank top that I thought looked like a bathing suit. I remember playing in the front yard when my neighbor lady came out to chat and said “I see you have your panties on today” and I was mortified that I wasn’t fooling anyone.

To focus on the disabled person having to put in a huge amount of work to get through obstacles that have been put in their way takes the onus away from the abled community to remove those barriers.

I started laughing a lot more, and having a lot more silly fun once I stopped following all the “too cool for that” rules I’d unwittingly built up in my teens and twenties. Sh*t just like what you like and let others do the same✨

My friend sent me this extremely beautiful sampler box of David’s Teas. She sent it at least a year ago but I do this thing where, I’ll hold off treating myself because I want to save it for a special occasion but then no occasion seems fancy enough to indulge and I end up having to force myself
