Hello! I am DaveyGamersLocker, and I am now taking commissions! I specialize in character art, but I am also willing to create backgrounds, environments, and scenes.
These next slides consist of concept art, which I drew to communicate the idea of the game. Our Studio built off of the concept art to establish the game's art style. Directing Pizzatown Hero was a very valuable learning experience for me, and I am very proud of our work!
Here are a bunch of art assets I made for my Studio's game, Pizzatown Hero! This first slide contains tiles that I made for the game. Concept art is in the replies.
Here's a bunch of textures I made for a Texturing class! I had a lot of fun learning how to use Substance Painter and Substance Designer. Each texture was meticulously crafted with care, and it was a blast putting them all together on the models.
My friend says the model reminds him of Super Mario RPG, and y'know what? I can see it. I do have a soft spot for that vintage CGI look, so I guess it's not surprising that my model ended up looking like that. All in all, I'm proud of myself!
I made a 3D model of my ninja character, Shuri! She's ready to leap into action!

I tried to make the model low-poly, while still looking fairly smooth. She's only got 4.6k tris! I also added some cel shading onto the textures, to give off a cartoony look.
She’s not canon, of course. Just a fun thought I had.
What if Shuri had a robot doppelgänger? Introducing Steel Shuri!
Thank you for letting us share our thoughts! I was there for it all - Sans memes, SFM parodies, AUs... Here's to another great 10 years!
Sonic x Shadow Generations also has a game select menu on Switch. Maybe something like that could work on consoles as well? Either way, here's hoping Lunistice's future goes swell! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. (2/2)
Thank you so much! That's honestly the one thing I was worried about, so it's good to hear that's being addressed!

I agree that a launcher would probably be the best option. Demon Turf has a launcher where you can pick which game to play (OG, Neon Splash, or Tower). (1/2)

Hope the Robot and his friends are here to save humankind and robotkind alike! In this frantic, action-packed tabletop game, take the role of the heroes or the invaders! Restore peace to Cybertown – or crush it into oblivion. Who will come out on top? Destiny – and the cards – are in your hands!
Decades into the future, humans and robots live in harmony. However, this harmony is threatened when an evil robot army attacks the sprawling metropolis of Cybertown! Will this army spell doom for the city and its people? Not if Hope shines bright!
For our final project in my Tabletop and Card Game Illustration class, we were tasked to make a cover for a hypothetical tabletop game. I envisioned a wargame that takes place in a futuristic city. No game was ever actually designed for this art piece; it's just a hypothetical.
Struzan made all of the characters have a solid color scheme, matching their respective game pieces. He also painted the characters in a vibrant watercolor style, with plenty of detail and shading. I tried to follow both of these patterns in my art piece. I enjoyed paying tribute to Struzan’s work!
In my Tabletop and Card Game Illustration class, we were assigned to research a board game and an artist for the game, then create an art piece inspired by the artist’s work. I chose Clue, a classic mystery board game. The artist I chose was Drew Struzan, who made the cover art for the 1996 version.
Awesome! This wall-jump looks like it encourages exploration and experimentation, which is a lot more than you can say for wall-jumps in a lot of other games. It plays into the "flow state" core of the game really well. Keep up the great work! :D
I made this back in 2020, and I completely forgot about it until now.

I'm not sorry.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that I made Marisa’s dress a dark purple, instead of pure black. This is because she wore purple in the earliest games, and I wanted to pay tribute to that. Fun Fact: In Touhou 2, she was a redhead! Touhou 3 made her blonde, and she’s been that way ever since.
