M wife is an atheist. Today, she heard too. We keep hearing a phone ringing in our kitchen. We do not own a landline. Our iPhones use Apple sounds. This is a very specific, muffled, 1990s office landline sounding ring. We can walk right up to it and nothing is there, but the ring keeps going.

I love making anagrams. They were once so important in Europe, there were court anagrammists who’d find hidden meanings in the king's court and enemies by rearranging the letters in their names.
