I know you’ve had budget cuts. But you rely heavily on software. Just an FYI, there is a big difference between “a light dusting of snow” and freezing rain topped with 6” (15.3 cm) of snow and -7°F (-13.9°C) windchills.

Read a good post on Threads where someone complained that $13,000 was too much to illustrate a tarot deck. IMO, it’s not enough.
Here’s why:
• 78 paintings, card back, box design
• It took me 900 hours.
• $13k / 900 = $14.44/hour
• Illustrators make $75–$250/hour
• 900 hours is almost a FT job

M wife is an atheist. Today, she heard too. We keep hearing a phone ringing in our kitchen. We do not own a landline. Our iPhones use Apple sounds. This is a very specific, muffled, 1990s office landline sounding ring. We can walk right up to it and nothing is there, but the ring keeps going.
