Guitar body, area of the neck. A gouge is carving out a semi-circular relief scoop for upper fret access below the neck pocket because someone didnt figure that out on the extensive planning process. Slightly different pic of previous, see other pic's alt. Body is made of poplar, neck is cheap maple, 22 fanned fret 7 string. No finish on the body as of yet, coat of shellac on the neck.
