Big congrats to @jamesgunn.bsky.social and crew on the season 2 finale of #Peacemaker.

As a dude who has written some things, I was impressed with the ending choice. In some ways that ending was the only way it could have ended, given the histories, but it couldn't have been "easy" to decide.

Can’t get any more delicious than Trump losing the #NobelPeacePrize to an anti-fascist Venezuelan woman that’s fighting against people just like him….great choice by the committee!

Congratulations María Corina Machado 💪

He was! Fully living up to his rascally rabbit rapper rep, I might add. Who knew jello diving was a thing?

I heard the jello clogged the pool pump, tho. Had to buy a whole new motor, lol.

Dude knows how to preside over a wedding tho.

I'm the Chief AI Hacker of Antifa (Global).

I think you and I got hammered at a Sheraton together, @chriswarcraft.bsky.social - for 3Pac and the clone of Che Guevara's wedding?

Since we’re clearing the air, I might as well put out something I’ve been concealing for a very long time.

I’m the Vice President of Antifa (Western Continental Division)

OK. It's going to be coming out soon because of the relentless investigations of Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, so I might as well admit it before the news breaks:

I am the General Counsel of Antifa.

I made a Mastodon account recently, but maybe I'm doing it wrong? Whole lot of news aggregator bots, not much else.

I can’t believe I have to say this, but historically, masked men who kidnap families in the middle of the night are usually not the good guys.

Stephen Miller said the quiet part out loud. Trump has “plenary authority,” then suddenly went silent. Their plan wasn’t to be public yet. Clearly, someone hit the panic button in his earpiece.

It gets weirder: CNN uploaded the interview with the “plenary authority” comment edited out.

Check the timestamps. On CNN’s website, the uploaded interview starts at 2:52. On their YouTube page, the upload starts at 2:47. The “plenary authority” comment by Miller was at 2:41, as shown in my side-by-side video post. CNN should be reporting on what Miller said. It’s news!

Oh no. What if she's the anti-Jen?

O.o

This could end poorly.

If you feel a disturbance in the force in Edmonton today, it’s because two librarians named Jen Waters are at the same conference. I haven’t met her yet but this is my only goal over the next two days.

I made some good friends and some new colleagues. I also connected with a lot of reporters, some of whom helped me advance my career (looking at @douglaslucas.bsky.social who encouraged me to submit a paper that was accepted at @hope.net).

I've lived in Arizona for 40 years, never seen much difference in culture between Tucson and Phoenix. Or anywhere in Arizona really.

This is the most accurate depiction of the Midwest to date. Wichita has always felt like the last Midwest city while also being the first plains city.

And yeah, the fact that the LLM constantly accuses me is another big issue relating to epistemic control.

Absolutely a part of the Middlestack these days: the idea of ingratiating the "chatbot" to the user.

It's why I keep screaming bloody murder about epistemic control.

Oh, tho, fun fact: my OpenAI account is so heavily weighted and or flagged, the LLM constantly accuses me of stuff.

AI has always been a manipulation machine designed to steal your attention and trick you into believing it’s just like you, change my mind.
cascoinfoundation.org
It’s not like they’ve purposefully built their AIs to manipulate people, right?

Like the Friend wearable AI would never use Crisis Manipulation to win users, right?

Right???

In TUM, people have literally become commodities, with exchanges and markets based entirely on investment in individual ownership. The protagonist, the only one not so owned, tries to fix this system.

I get the impression the crypto devotees probably thought the author fucked up a great premise.
