And Bill Buckner didn't cost the Red Sox the game. Even if he fielded that ball cleanly, he likely wasn't going to get Wilson as first.

Bob Moose's wild pitch in 1972 deserves mention here.

Hail and farewell, Mike Greenwell.

Sad news today.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Red Sox Hall of Famer Mike Greenwell.

“The Gator” spent his entire career in a Red Sox uniform & was a beloved fixture of Fenway and Fort Myers. He gave so much to this organization, Lee County, & Sox Nation.

We send our love to the Greenwell family.

Here in AZ: a few Bucs prospects are in the Fall League. Tony Blanco is in the lineup today for Salt River.

This is the sentiment that got us in the mess in the first place.

Ah, no. I finally saw the reverse angle. Not even close to a travel. Good shot.

Might have been traveling, but...

I agree 100%. The question isn't a matter of science, though. It's about curriculum and what should be taught to third graders. I am not sure that ANY discussion of sex organs should be part of the third grade curriciulm. It seems Newsom was thinking that way. And believe me: I am no prude.

We'll see what happens with the other bills
davidpegram.bsky.social
He was right to veto that bill because it opens a floodgate in terms of any school or district teaching its own (competetive) theory/version of biology. As far I am aware, the subject isn't taught at all at that age level and should remain so.

Milwaukee deserves credit, here. Matt Arnold might be the best GM in baseball, and Pat Murphy gets the max out of every player.

But Trump himself is the biggest toddler of all. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hope this is all going well for you.

Folks were warned in 2016 and 2024. They didn't listen.

The play was ok. But Muncy snuffed that out. I'll have to watch it again, but with Muncy leaving his position, Castellanos should have broken to third immediately, no matter that Betts covered. Castellanos should have been on third already by the time Muncy fielded the ball.

Meanwhile, Taylor-Demerson's interception should have been ruled incomplete if we're using the Troy Polamalu standard. The NFL still has no idea what a catch is or isn't.

I am supposed to fly in a few weeks. 🥴

As a Steeler fan, I have seen that Ward-type play called incomplete twice. Troy P: 2005 playoffs; J James 2017 vs Patriots. The NFL has no idea what a catch is or isn't. They just make it up on the spot.
davidpegram.bsky.social
The NFL nas no idea what is/isn't a catch. Ask Troy Polamalu.

Gonna be a sweep if the refs call it tight on everything PHX does.
