By way of introduction - I'm retired and live in beautiful Derbyshire where I walk my dog (German Shepherd), take photographs and, of course, visit pubs.
This photograph was taken on a walk starting in Tideswell with a lovely little Olympus 35RC using Kodak Gold 200.

I saw this smoke as I came down the towpath in Braunston. As I took the photograph a malinois, was barking like hell through the window. My German Shepherd was unmoved. Anyhow, this was exactly as I imagined the photograph.

Trial shot with a TLR camera and despite the mirror viewfinder weird left/right transposition and being very dim outside the center, I nailed the focus. I wasn't sure, but everything works, which is a miracle as it is 75 years old, so this one is a keeper.
