This gets into the heart of the matter perhaps. AI will not really eliminate employment by the "creatives". But it will probably replace liberal content creators with conservatives, as is already being done with podcasts.

I think part of this is that the trad subculture doesn't even see "high value" man as that related to income.

They don't admire wimpy computer programmers living in big houses at the suburbs of Boston who will happily will do housework for the wife.

I hate the constant bombardment of bait on twitter so much.

Yes, a lot of men would have sex with any woman regardless of how hot or ugly she was. And no, that's not new and it does not really condemn you to celibacy.

I would support lowering the drinking age to 18, especially for simple beer, if it was coupled with "and we expect a lot of bad behavior so a lot of people are going to be thrown in jail for fights and DWIs".

The "Left" as in liberals and non white Democrats does not believe this.

The "Left" as in the far left types who had Mamdanigasms though, are close to thinking this way.

Religious people are happier and they reproduce more but there's just not a lot of evidence religion is needed for a moral society.

Sweden is extremely secular and moral because people aren't stupid and they realize that even the best prison is kind of uncomfortable.

My understanding is that men trading in their wives when they get rich is rare, and especially if you exclude niche groups like rockstars and actors.

It's much more common the other way around.

I think the confusion on boomers is that basically X/Y/Z/A are just extending the prosperity narcissism that boomers created.

That is people born after 1964 are simply boomers with more boom.

It's just that bc boomers were such a clean break from the greatest they seem more exceptional.

Seven reforms I would like at universities:

1. Class rank/SAT requirements to get student loans.
2. Standardized test style exit exams for every type of major, preferably created by the feds but possibly by states.

Someone was saying that basically what we call antifa is largely the organizational descendants of the 1980s anti racist skinhead movement.

I do not see comprehensive gun control happening in the next 50 years. I hope it happens one day. But I will not be around to see it.

Mass incarceration is the best bipartisan route to mitigate gun violence. We need more violent people in prison.

The reason I find this kind of rhetoric cringe (though it may be politically useful idk) is that focusing on what poor people own is just missing the point.

For poor people consumption(including social welfare services like healthcare) matters

Owning stuff doesn't matter very much.

If you have college educated boomer parents who are no longer with us please honor them by watching that Joni Mitchell biopic that will be released in early 2027.

I have no idea what the hell the male loneliness problem even is.

I get that self identifying as lonely generally means you hate your life. Just not seeing how it's a particularly male problem.

Unlike say using meth. Which is a very male problem.

Even the highbrow republicans have to speak in conspiratorial terms.

A secular society just sees kids as an expensive hobby. No ideological group is telling women to view it this way, that's just how a narcissistic society works.

If the USA adopted the UK's political system with Trump as king Democrats would probably be better off if

we could go back to their 2008 system with no supreme court

and if

we could have a house of lords that was more ideologically balanced than the 6-3 GOP court we have.

I wouldn't say I support an invasion of Venezuala. But I am open minded.

The core underlying belief of all modern left-wing thought is that comfortable masculinity shouldn't be allowed in center left parties.

It's actually interesting that one of the goals right now for the ADL is to get wikipedia articles on Israel related issues downgraded in search results, and that would definitely be clutch.

Exclusive | Dozens of Wikipedia editors colluded on years-long anti-Israel campaign, bombshell ADL report claims
Dozens of editors worked together to flood Wikipedia with “antisemitic narratives, anti-Israel bias, and misleading information,” the ADL’s Center for Tech and Society said.

My favorite right wing boomer trope is still when Scott Walker tried to say that the Left wanted to erase Iron Maiden’s legacy bc the Left is afraid of music that was fun, dumb and masculine.

I wish that had caught on and become a central tenant of the conservative movement for a few decades.

When I see Zuck speak in interviews where he's calm he seems very normal and not even close to the the tail end of high functioning autism.

He was talking about his friendship with rapper Jack Harlow other day.

So...how is twitter showing where people are from going to fix anything? They can just get VPNs to impersonate americans right?

Am I a fan of Elon? No. But considering hamas and co have taken over wikipedia, grokopedia could hardly be worse.

My view is we should move away from the zoning aspects of yimbyism and more towards supply side innovation.

Could we make prefab houses catch on etc? Smaller elevators in apartments?
November 24, 2025 at 11:20 PM
Kind of shocked they’re rolling with this. So Biden enriched the boomers? I like him more than before I guess.
After four years of house prices doubling (and in some areas, tripling) many young people feel priced out of the American Dream of homeownership.
