I swear, the deliberate malicious misinterpretation of literature and media basically comes down to “durr in that book the dark shadowlands were evil and the sunshine was good so let’s ignore literally everything else ban all brown immigrants.” The right-wing misuse of Tolkien is beyond vile.

Thinking about this as the new My Chemical Romance tour goes on sale, priced in the hundreds for the farthest away sections. Ticketmaster/Live Nation are pricing the middle class out of concerts.

In January, Delta CEO Ed Bastian said that the Trump admin’s regulatory approach could be a “breath of fresh air.” I wonder how he feels today as Trump’s DOT moves to shut down Delta’s joint venture with Aeromexico.

$89 to upgrade to first on a 30 minute regional jet flight. The only reason it would be worth it would be to mess with whoever gets stranded on the upgrade list.
