oh, yeah that is a bit far for dinner lol - but if you ever get the chance their signature is a smoked eel sandwich that comes with pickled shallot and horseradish and is to die for!

She can be angelic when she wants to be…

oh they do them - following their Instagram is best, their website is nice but not so regularly kept up to date...

game 19, 8-a-side, got a bit angry up the other end but I was defending so didn't see much of what went on - we won, kept a solid formation while the others argued amongst themselves - all the guys who flaked out of the Monday league were absent and I think that'll be the last we see of them ⚽️

game 18, 9-a-side, played as part of an older three at the back and left the youngers to sort themselves out which was a mistake, they all wanted to be a forward so there was no midfield and we rightly got tonked, but this is fine as it's a Friday friendly and a lesson learned, onwards and upwards ⚽️

match 17 was 11-a-side, we lost but I felt I had a good game on the left wing, going past people is so much easier than back in March, tracking back and not being out of breath is a good feeling too - 10 days until the Monday league, I'll most certainly be a substitute but still can't wait ⚽️

they have a monthly event there, very occasionally entirely vegetarian, sometimes with the option, but mostly the one set menu - just depends on the guest chef and what they want to do that time...the main restaurant menu has always got both options on the go though

watching the likes to spot his bsky burner account 👀

follow her on Insta and she's always even handed, but many of the replies she gets are as you could expect completely wild

I'd love for them to award it to him next year, posthumously

there's nothing from the last 15 months you can't imagine the Sunak administration doing, apart from maybe the horrific 'island of strangers' speech; it's more of the same with a different management team

we do both complimentary and derogatory 'bald' chants at the wrestling depending on if they're good or bad baldies, and I think it would be just great if the crowds that gather at the royal walkabouts could adopt this

haha - I couldn't name who directed a fraction of the films you probably could!

Jeremy Lee (for it is he) rang the gong to announce her arrival and she said though he wasn't great at taking instruction in the kitchen he was fun to work with!

Casino Royale was Martin Campbell - Skyfall and Spectre were Mendes and have fine moments - 1917 though I think is better than both, one-shot (but not) and is paced perfectly
davidsnow.bsky.social
absolutely, this and 1917 are far and away my favourite Mendes films, and this is the better of the two (American Beauty holds up really well too if you can separate art from artist etc)

omg had you not seen this before?

There’s currently a feline face-off in our garden between our step cat Ozzy and a huge ginger tom - Warren is getting an education with a front row seat…

the highlight reel is mid - I get that a director, someone who wants complete and absolute control, would want to work with this but there must be times when a member of the cast or crew suggested a change and he went with it and it made something better, you'll never have that working alone with AI
davidsnow.bsky.social
this was a brief moment of calm between the bouts of caterwauling - it ended with a face off on the decking to I went out and the big ginger sped up the wall and Ozzy retired to his spot under the agapanthus at the back of the garden
