📍Hudson Valley/NYC
A bit bittersweet taking the train for one of the last times before I move. Excited to be back in NYC, but going to miss this trip being such a big part of my life.

This is just truly one of the most successful urban policies of our lifetimes and we need to replicate it in every major city.
In addition to all of the other benefits already reported about NYC congestion pricing, "In the first six months of the program, air pollution – in the form of particulate matter 2.5 micrometers and smaller – dropped by 22% in the Congestion Relief Zone (CRZ)"

This is great, I’m going to get a good grade at the gay ornament swap party, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve.

We don’t talk enough about how viscerally upsetting the NJT map is, what do you mean you split the state in half and rotated part of it 30°?
December 2, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Love watching from a stalled AirTrain as the train I wanted to catch from EWR pulls away, awesome having to wait nearly 30m for the next one, incredibly cool we can only manage ~2 commuter trains per hour from one of the country’s largest airports to its biggest city on a weekday afternoon.

Extremely fun and cool to have one exercise that seems impossible to progress on for no discernible reason (this is a seated leg curl subskeet).

Deeply obsessed with this 70s moleskin jacket (which was…official NFL merch?!?) I picked up at the vintage mall today.

Bonus because it cleared up further and Mt. Rainier (100 mi. away!) appeared behind Mt. St. Helens.

We should find a way to add an outdoor deck with fire pits and a sweeping view of the Rockies to LGA.

Cannot wait to get to Portland tomorrow, at ACUTE levels of needing to wander aimlessly around a pine forest.

It is truly absurd we're not already mandating massive cuts to methane emissions, one of the cheaper, easier, and faster pathways to curbing climate change.
