These were really good posts explaining Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria I had to pull over

On a personal level, this is one of my hardest things to deal with. Thankfully its not constant, and I've learned outward reactive regulation, but inside its still this, and sometimes the sad slips out >> 1/2
Post reads: People with ADHD have what’s called Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). It’s an extreme emotional response to perceived criticism or rejection. Your brain can’t regulate the emotional pain, so a small comment feels like a devastating attack. A minor correction feels like total failure. Someone’s tone feels like hatred. It’s not oversensitivity. It’s not being dramatic. Your brain literally can’t modulate the intensity of that emotional response. It’s neurological, not a character flaw. Post reads: If you love someone with ADHD, understand that tone is a weapon you didn't know you were carrying. A short text or a sigh of frustration isn't just a moment of stress to them, it's a signal of impending exile. Your consistency and reassurance aren't coddling; they are the bridge that helps them cross the gap of their own neurological insecurity.

Shervin the sheep and his sheep friend, Tanya, talk about Shervin's boyfriend Jago, on their 3 year anniversary. Jago is nearby buying ice cream for everyone, out of ear shot. Panel one: Tanya says "...so you and Jago have been together for...3 years now?" Shervin responds "Just about, yeah." Panel 2: Tanya says "A dragon, of all people, hard to believe. What was it?" Shervin answers: He just ticks all the right boxes for me. Panel 3: Tanya asks incredulously: "Oh? Personality and muscles? Couldn't find that in a local sheep?" Shervin replies whistfully: "Ha, it's so much more than that. He has something no one else has..." Jago is seen in the background accidentally dropping his credit card. Final panel: Shervin: "You wouldn't get it" Jago is bending down to pick up his card, exposing his massive, toned ass Tanya: "I think I have a rough idea..."
