Dublin City University Library based in three locations in Dublin, Ireland: O'Reilly Library (Glasnevin Campus), Cregan Library (St Patrick's Campus) and Woodlock Hall (All Hallows Campus)
Our long awaited submission for this month's Explore Your Archive theme!
It's important to take the time to clean Early Printed Books thoroughly and safely, leaving little MARGIN for error.
Not for the faint of heart (though certainly weirdly satisfying!)

If you're in the vicinity of @dculibrary.bsky.social, please pop in to see an exhibition selected from the archive material I've donated. It relates to my first book, The Destruction of Dublin (1985), and the Dublin Crisis Conference I helped to organise in February 1986. A blast from the past!

A friendly Halloween reminder from the goblins and grim reapers of Guillaume Stanyhurst's "Veteris Hominis per expensa quatuor novissima metamorphosis" dated 1661:
We should not fear death, but evil.
But be cautious, because as the giant head says, "He who complains here, perishes eternally". 👻🎃📚
