#MSI.L Astute of Mr Bell further tax planning - transfers to ISA and SIPP

Oops sorry missed your downgraded expectations
January 15, 2025 at 7:29 AM
I think you might have missed margin reduction for 2025, so forward profit warning?

#MSI.L Directors bag more shares - they do like to keep them

With reference to drone defence the UK has a company sitting in Norwich that is acknowledged worldwide #MSI.L

Well I might be completely wrong but it crossed my mind complete clear out of senior management team and new attractive options could appear, we will see.

#NXQ.L I have held historically and still monitor, I am concerned the buybacks may not be in the best interests of PIs, I believe being held in treasury not cancelled.

Agreed and thankful at the time you highlighted. When you look at current valuation I am not surprised. Also have been canny in developing Norwich site and now highlighting Rock Hill (US).

#MSI.L spot on and the phantom award to RLS last Nov was a clear intention and he bought another 10,000 subsequently. Strategic update before FY25 also indicated.

#MSI.L Interestingly current FD gifts 150,000 to adult son. Generous but gives a big hint as to where the end game is going.

One of those ones where there will be a queue to get in and in due course a queue to get out fast
December 11, 2024 at 7:41 AM
#MSI.L I liken it to keep looking under the bonnet. Initially the secretary told me 'We do not provide a running commentary' I took it as rude! BUT with a constant look out for nibbles of defence news the division is flying and when Mr Bell says he is more excited than ever the clues are there.

#MSI.L hopeful HY25 should be impressive. I think the defence cuts today did not help sentiment but seems to me #MSI.L exposure minimal, if anything Paladin in high demand across various markets.
November 20, 2024 at 7:18 PM
#MSI.L a day can make quite a difference! Reaction to #SOLI.L warning gives concern to those in the sector. #MSI.L I believe is quite different on not reliant on MOD, diversified to wide customer base. Paladin still looks the peach.

Just sat in seminar ref. Implications for UK small businesses from Budget. Already vast number especially retail and hospitality will close or make significant redundancies. Empr NI, minimum wage, Business rate relief reduction all shockers for them. Those that export to US likely tariff issue.

Post budget #MSI.L & #ANP.L seem to be recovering well.
November 11, 2024 at 4:14 PM
Some AIM companies will be potentially more effected, elsewhere a PI did some extensive research on AIM fund holdings and I believe #MSI.L and #ANP.L amongst others have little exposure.

#POS.L Looks a basket case to me. Picked up a one off contract, broker note suggesting back to loss making situ, going concern statement could not be clearer and paying 20% on loan notes. Original leadership have gone - what could go wrong 😂
October 22, 2024 at 8:54 AM
#MSI.L Any end game process I feel will be competitive as the defence division is evolving, due to the management structure I get the feeling it will be a future announcement of done deal no mucking about.
October 7, 2024 at 8:08 AM
#MSI The FD moved a lot to family members, nearly 30% of holding. Agreed they have held onto their shares even the options and company have bought of Stonehage as well
October 7, 2024 at 6:17 AM
#SNWS.L looks a solid update, expectations high that divi will become even chunkier! FY Results Nov.
October 2, 2024 at 6:28 AM
Have held in the past, there might be some sort of bounce but the risk with H2 looks significant to me. As mentioned this morning PBT HY25 looks so weak to me they have an awful lot to do and management are having to hope Xmas comes good.
September 24, 2024 at 3:32 PM
#CARD.L I am not sure that is what holders were expecting. PBT looks politely disappointing and look at FY24 that will take some doing to match. Cash from operations as well?
