Our aircraft Seabird 2 spotted this vessel in distress. The merchant vessel IVER BEAUTY was heading there and confirmed, that they turned away after orders from an unnamed "coastguard". @alarmphone.bsky.social says the boat was intercepted by the so-called Libyan coastguard. This is a disgrace.

Se l’Italia non notificherà la sua intenzione di non rinnovare il Memorandum con la Libia entro il 2 novembre, l’accordo si rinnoverà per altri 3 anni.

Rinnovare un accordo significa accettarlo.
Farlo significherebbe rendere l’Italia complice delle atrocità che vengono commesse in Libia.

🆘 Distress Call from Benghazi ⚠️

Two days ago, we received an SOS message from a group of women and children allegedly held in an EU-linked detention camp in Benghazi, Libya. Most of them are Eritrean. They reported daily rape and sexual violence, starvation, torture, and ransom demands.
