Guess that would explain why my old ConTeXt documents wouldn't compile. MkIV documents need to be run with the old LuaTeX while the newest MkXL documents are LuaMetaTeX by default.

There's almost something offensive about selling a piece of wood with preprinted index cards and charging $100+ for it. And THEN topping it off with a subscription for more cards just to play GTD? Now I remember why I stopped bothering with podcasts when they advertise this stuff.

Don't know why Lovecraft's such a popular horror figure. So much of his works boil down to "oh man this is too terrible to describe" and Call of Cthulhu is just a second-hand story of ramming the titular monster with a steamboat.

Org Mode feels like something that just takes practice to understand where it shines. Setting an Org file up for taking notes from a zine is one of those kind of times. Property drawers and headline tags are REALLY handy.

New York City got blown up in World War 4 (we skipped 3 for some reason). Yonkers, NY rose up with a major history revision effort to rebrand all "New York" mentions to "New Yonk".
New Yonk City is now a major metropolis.

Can't easily set up compose keys or AltGr? #Emacs comes with an input method for RFC 1345 digraphs. They do need ampersand (&) leading them though: eg. &-M for em dashes or &"6 and &"9 for curly quotes.
Try it out with C-\ rfc1345.

The Zen browser's kind of neat and all but I'm not quite sure what makes it click for some folks. The regular Firefox stayed pretty well out of my way pretty fine and stays consistent with my system's theme.

Turns out I no longer have to do load-path shenanigans or dread hosting my own packages for #Emacs.

If my math is right, it also looks like it would be a more effective use of rocketry to send an assembly line and a rocketload of copper to a space station to make more space platform foundation than it would be to send a rocketload of foundation. #Factorio

It's starting to look like my #Factorio assembly lines might benefit from fewer intermediaries. Things such as skipping a stone brick line, just bring stone to my military science pack depot and make the stone bricks there. Should be able to get away with 8 steel furnaces for 60 sci/min.
