if you use tome of fyendal or tome of aetherwind this is pretty doable, but requires a bit of good luck or a spicy pitch stack

SAGE is fast-casual format (like applebees)

only loss is unique young heroes like emperor and yomi, so just print adult versions of them; theyre not gonna be more broken than gravy

dromai mirrors were incredibly skill-based

pitch stacking and then using burn them away to manipulate specific cards in graveyard was like playing chess 3 moves in advance

im hoping she gets a reprint in some form, the deck was one of the most engaging in fabs history

people are worried about gravy bones being too good

just like they printed warmongers to nerf runeblade, we should have a generic printed to deal with boardstate decks

im thinking 0 cost, blue pitch, 3 block, 4 attack with go again, BUT prevent all damage it would deal to heroes

many players unfortunately struggle with the playskill required to counter wizard, in their head its like

sideboarding against aggro: ok ill put in sink fate and shelter

sideboarding against wizard: omg wtf this class is broken

more AB in the sideboard and some flex blues solve a lot

very funny that the solution to aggro-only decks in the game is likely banning generic d reacts

if every deck can survive regular aggro, every hero is designed to punch over, meaning there's no ecosystem and every deck is just nonlinear aggro, and power turns reach "decisions don't matter anymore"

fablazings new tier list maker is pretty slick!

with the metagame about to dramatically evolve this should help foster a lot of important discussion

For anyone interested in building tierlists for Flesh and Blood, I created a page on Fablazing with all hero images ready to go and hopefully a better UX than tiermaker.

i know lots of players consider pitch stacking to be an integral skill in the game, and i definitely agree

at the same time sometimes i feel like it should have some proper counterplay

people are concerned about tutors and hand fixing, but thats literally what pitch stacking is

the set is called super slam

but none of the cards have "super" or "slam" in the name

the closest we get is super rare rarity (which admittedly is fairly rare)

im concerned about how pushed aggro is in #fabtcg these days but i also understand it stems from having oppressive defensive/fatigue tools

the community really didnt like oldhim or cyb, but innocuous staples like sink and fate also contribute

id like to see more designs like this tbh

i dislike seismic surges from a lore perspective

drawing power from the earth seems to be the theme, but thats literally elemental heroes

mechanically, getting free resource reductions is runeblades thing

i just wish guardian had a unique identity it didnt take from others
