I get the “eldest daughter” and “youngest child” lines but it’s not the core theme of the song. I like it being about all the things we say we don’t like just to fit in, hiding our true selves (closeting), the title just gave me different expectations

certain songs were totally that tongue in cheek blank space vibe on first listen, like cancelled. but idk. the mv for ophelia gave more depth to it for sure and I do like that she’s singing a supposedly lovey lyric while being manipulated and passed along on the ship. but some still felt v tradwife
