The subjects are tourists; a middle aged couple. The wife has spotted a good view for a picture and has instructed the husband to stand to attention. She is holding her phone aloft for the snap. The husband, much amused, is proudly holding aloft the star of the show; an adolescent golden retriever. It is almost too big to carry, but still sports the face of a puppy. Despite the wife’s efforts, the puppy has spotted me capturing the scene, and innocently stares into my lens instead.
