Excuse me? Minnesota abolished the death penalty in 1911- and even then the accused was given due process and a trial- not a flat out frivolous execution!

Excuse me? Minnesota abolished the death penalty in 1911- and even then the accused was given due process and a trial- not a flat out frivolous execution!

Ok this is not about Mr.Geary- he was a talented actor and did not write the scripts- but am I the only one who remembers the Luke and Laura storyline started with a rape? I’m feeling queasy at all these posts glorifying that storyline and talking about it as a great love story.

I recently listened to Cary Elwes memoir of the making of the Princess Bride. Throughout there is such deep appreciation for Rob Reiner as a director, coach, friend, and mentor. I got a brief glimpse of this incredible human. I feel gut punched at the loss of this brilliant and compassionate man.
Phone has now been ringing at my local #cvs for over 9 minutes unanswered. For the past 4 years their business model has been to continually cut staffing, shorten store hours, and reduce pharmacy employees.
I long ago gave up and switched to #walgreens where I don’t have this issue.

On this Veteran's Day, I am thinking of the Over 1.2 million U.S. veterans who currently rely on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits to afford food. And of the approximately 20,000 military families using SNAP benefits, along with 213,000 National Guard and Reserve members.
