We got engaged after 6 weeks, married 14 months later and today we celebrate 33 years since our wedding.

I promised Evanne I’d start to play guitar and write songs again, so I’m keeping my promise - bought a cheap Vox travel guitar to add to the collection, so I can practice on the go.

Sharing thoughts and love with all of the other bereaved dads today on Father’s Day - we lost our beautiful Evanne almost 7 weeks ago and I would give anything to chat to her and hug her again.

Today would have been Evanne’s 25th Birthday. She always loved that she shared the same birthday as her icon, Marilyn Monroe - I hope the 2 of them are sat together somewhere sharing special memories & a drink.

It’s 6 years today since our daughter Evanne collapsed and was diagnosed with a brain tumour/cancer. She has defied the odds to be where she is today and continues to be the most amazing, determined and inspiring person we know. We are so proud of you, Evanne and here for you always ❤️
