As a 25 year old, Joe Veleno—recently acquired by Seattle in the Andre Burakovsky deal—can be bought out at the 1/3 level. If he goes unclaimed, he will count $796k against the cap in 25-26 and $296k against the cap in 26-27. With Freddy Gaudreau now projected to the 4C role, Veleno will move on.
