He did appear before the revolution, though
It’s about time. So far, we are only witnessing the bus routes disappearing and the buses getting rarer like dinosaurs dying out in slow motion.
What a beautiful creature
Genus/Species: Strix uralensis
Subtitle: Ural Owl
Indeed. It’s great what you are doing here. Some of the things resonate deeply with me as I grew up with Slavic folklore. Living now in a Celtic country - a huge wealth of traditions and folklore, also having been suppressed for several centuries
What I mean is that Leshy, for example, can be found as a character in modern books, and so can domovoy and some others. It’s like a second lease of life for them adapted to modern times. Others were less lucky and are being forgotten. Not in the west, in the slavic nations.
Interesting how some folklore characters are better survivors of time than others. While Leshy, domovoy, kikimora have made it into modernity, others like divyi, and others are not known widely any more…
Is this poetic shelter a public park? Looks amazing
No, no, no, you got it wrong. The cat is amazing! Uses public transport and plays chess :)))
Pelagia has a different vibe, a slower, “less action more thought” kind of groove. I think the right way is to start with Pelagia, but too late now - all read :)
