Best take I've seen on tonight's capitulation by Senate democrats. They held the stronger bargaining position but stopped trying to help Americans access health care. I still don't understand why. The answer is probably donor dollars.

Instead of a firm agreement, dem Senators are settling for a pinky swear that a vote on the ACA will be held in the future. They know that Johnson will not commit to holding a vote.
