It might be! I have a hard time choosing favorites 😅
demadevotee.bsky.social
Pathetic that they even tried to
demadevotee.bsky.social
Apple cider 🫶🏼 the queen you are
demadevotee.bsky.social
So dope!! That’s why they made a super fun, not at all infuriating board game about it!
demadevotee.bsky.social
Nope. I think that’s a big part of the price. Everyone in town uses them and they’re connected to the power co that has a monopoly here

Next option is some company an 1 & 1/2 away but they’re not allowed to touch any of the power stuff, so the electric co would have to come and charge us for that 😃

I’d choose this cult again any day. I believe this may be the only cult where you can be yourself with no repercussions! Especially this sect of bsky clique 😅
demadevotee.bsky.social
Exactly! And what things do we regard today as incomprehensible that in another millennia (assuming the earth is still spinning and humans still inhabit it) will be common knowledge

Life is weird
demadevotee.bsky.social
That is passive suicidal ideation and is a huge problem especially because it can be so subtle and layered that no one sees it till it’s too late
demadevotee.bsky.social
Right?? I really wish they sent an itemized estimate explaining everything because that really is so wild
demadevotee.bsky.social
Typical cost for the system we wanted and our size home is $10-15k
Idk what the heck they were charging for. They didn’t do an itemized estimate. Anyway… we’re sticking with our goofy portable unit. Yay
demadevotee.bsky.social
winter. So we decided to get a quote for an actual heating/cooling system to replace our Walmart unit, and the estimate came back $30,000 😂
Our house is 1,050 sqft… that is insane. A $570 monthly payment for 5 years they said. My guy, I will buy another car and live in it for that price.
demadevotee.bsky.social
Electricity prices have been going

Up
Up
Up

and with winter coming, we need heat… the house got to 40° regularly last winter. We have a portable heat/cooling unit that is our only source of heat/cooling but it’s gets kinda costly. It raised our electric bill about $100/month last

Torchy got reoccurring trauma 😭

All that to say really, I believe in facts and science and love to see new discoveries and the challenging of current theories

We will (hopefully) continue to learn as humans, but I don’t think we’ll ever reach complete understanding of the universe and that in and of itself is greater than any one of us. It is supernatural in that it goes beyond our understanding of the natural world.
demadevotee.bsky.social
necessarily believe in a specific god or being or supernatural force, but I believe that there are things beyond our human understanding at play. Fire was “supernatural” before it was understood. Disease was misconstrued as demons. We still barely know how the whole brain works.
demadevotee.bsky.social
The latter, absolutely not. I could speak at length (like the length of the equator times three) about religion 😭 I am, however, no longer subscribed to any religion. I yearn for a society free of that definition of religion

The former, yes, I believe in something greater than myself. I don’t
demadevotee.bsky.social
Depends on your definition of religion.

The belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers, regarded as creating and governing the universe

Or

A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader
demadevotee.bsky.social
Yeah I didn’t get it from this article but cool. I happen to actually know a bit about satellites seeing as I worked in the field 😃
demadevotee.bsky.social
Most for now, but not all. (Up to 95% of a satellite meaning 5% of each satellite makes it through) As the estimated number of falling satellites is increasing so will the amount of junk actually hitting the earth.
