demaiste.bsky.social
Okay game does not? Have a way to pause/enter menu? Strange.
demaiste.bsky.social
Oh the game represents stamina with a glowing yellow outline of your heart that's supremely neat

So I'm checking out "Let It Die" because "Let It Die: Inferno" looked mildly intriguing and the vibes are good? But I literally haven't played one second of the game yet so more to follow

You may yet see the final trails of the Draconids, though the recent full moon may obscure many of the trails in the night sky. Come toast to the stars, seek their wisdom in your endeavours, or dwell in stellar conversation with one of our hosts.

Trionfi returns tonight at 11:59PM EDT.
Malleus, an Elezen man, is seen in the main image holding onto a ribboned bottle of champagne. The text in the image reads:

I have been really creatively in a rut for a while, and while I don't think this has helped, the game "Road to Empress" generates a 'profile' based off of how you were playing and I was inspired by the guy who wrote the disclaimer. You go dude. It's important to have caveats and footnotes.

God Road to Empress is the best Ishgard simulator and I will never get my homies to understand

Supposedly the new updates (more sustaining pots, more potsherds, more Aetherpool) made it more fun all around, but I am biased because I love transforming into an angel and smiting undead v.v

Ahhhhh gotcha. Wish you luck and there are always people happy to Deep Dungeon! (it's me I love my Gelmorran Prison time)

Oh no do you not like Palace of the Dead?

It's a ten hour game and I've played it for six hours so I must be close to finished

Anyone else insanely hyped for Alien Isolation 2? I know it's still in early development, but I'm eagerly awaiting the first trailer when that drops 🙏 @creative-assembly.com

Since it's spooky season, I'm working on an audio redesign for Alien Isolation. Making the xenomorph sounds is so thrilling!

It's a part of the reason why I made Fury's Vigil is because it's already quite difficult to find Ishgardian roleplayers.

The hardest part in rp was always finding people to write with, sincerely and in good faith. That dark theocracy is still there-it's a big setting and we can share

Nah, I hard disagree-
I think there’s plenty of fascinating conflict and storytelling to be had in the difficult unraveling of those concepts in radically restructured peacetime.

You can still play people clinging to the old guard or distrustful/paranoid of openly embracing the new too quickly.
koboldlygoing.bsky.social
I might be in the minority here, but I enjoyed Ishgard more when it was a crushing, oppressive Theocracy where one misstep could be interpreted as heresy.

While Aymeric's Ishgard is undoubtedly BETTER for it's people, it's worse for the setting as a whole in my opinion. . .
demaiste.bsky.social
Obviously people can enjoy what they want-there are thoughts about the terror Ishgardians lived in when the Dravanian Horde was lead by Nidhogg to kill, and how that formed the repressed society of the Holy See.

But personally, I think Ishgard is so flat as "do what papa Church tells you or else"

"Those who seek to please everybody please nobody", Aesop said.

He then continued, "least of all yourself, because you're going to put in a lot of time and effort that will go to waste, and they're going to come up with this term 'virtue signaling', as if the acknowledgement of virtue somehow dim-"
