Just back from the grocery store. I can assure you affordability is fantasy land. Chuck roast $28? Can't find a whole chicken less than $15. On average, American families gotta be spending $400 to $600 dollars a week on food. Poverty guideline for a family of 4 is $33,000. Affordable? Do the math.
Trump claims victory on affordability as public anxieties persist
Advisers had been encouraging the president to sound more empathetic toward struggling Americans. But as some bright spots emerge, the messaging has shifted.

Every day a new horror is revealed... how many more innocent children are in danger. ICE has proven time after time they are not law enforcement officers but thugs abusing their authority.

Art. Fine art.

An ice sculpture that reads "PROSECUTE ICE". I'm told the organization behind the sculpture is Common Defense.

It's all so very distressing, it'll literally take an act of Congress to save America. Our job is to let 'em know we're watching.

Democrats created a rural caucus within the DNC more than a quarter century ago. I was one of two original co-founders. Agriculture and small business are key to a thriving and safe America. When a nation can't feed its people that nation is at risk. It's no BS to say #RuralMatters.
“The policies of this administration have caused tremendous harm to US agriculture,” letter signed by cross section of agriculture stakeholders said. “Farmer bankruptcies have doubled, barely half of all farms will be profitable this year, and the US is running a historic agriculture trade deficit.”

Florida Congressman Carlos Gimenez breaks ranks, publicly acknowledging a horrible truth. Talk is cheap. State sanctioned murder, defended by Republican lies, will continue unless you and your Republican colleagues actually vote against it.
Gimenez: "We've been warning the administration about the enforcement that's been going on. We thought there should've been a course correction a long time ago, and now I guess it's gonna be forced on us by the Democrats. We should've been focusing on criminals and gang members, not grandmothers."
