Lot of reasons, mostly bad, 10 million people who voted for Biden stayed home in 2024.

Partly their fault for not paying attention.

Partly GOP fault for lying about everything.

Partly DNC fault for not emphasizing Biden’s worker record well enough.

The DNC and their consultants set the parameters for most every candidate at the national and state level through funding.

If you can raise your own funds (like AOC) you have more leeway. But even AOC has to play along to obtain committee assignments.

There are also differences by districts.

Yes, I have repeatedly posted on voter suppression.

Stacey Abrams and Greg Palast are working on that, I’m not sure the DNC is doing all they should for 2026 and 2028.

Seems crucial to me.

How does knowing these demographics help us win in 2026 and 2028?

Republicans showed that it is more effective to appeal to actual values than assumed values based on demographic correlations.

That was Cambridge Analytica and all of the internet tracking (that should illegal) was all about.

No doubt true, but all the GOP had to do was win some, not all of the voters the DNC assumed will be loyal.

The problem for the DNC is that the voters they took for granted felt betrayed and some stayed home while some actually switched.

So, what do we do about this in 2026 and 2028 to win?

Race is a factor for many voters.

So is gender.

So is sexuality.

Economics is the most important reason people say they vote.

I haven’t read your source, so I’ll take a look.

Anyway, let’s say there are many racists.
