The DNC said that 10 states may have violated federal law by sharing private voter data with the DOJ, citing a particular directive that required states to remove voters from their rolls within 45 days if issues were identified.
A month after the DOJ’s politically motivated charges against James Comey and Letitia James were dismissed, the department insisted on resuscitating the cases. But the longtime Trump foes are also doubling down on the chance to challenge them.

Utah Republicans took their redistricting fight to the state Supreme Court, asking it to review a ruling blocking their new gerrymander. While a fairer map is in effect, GOP lawmakers have also signaled their desire to reinstate the old map as litigation continues.
