The first Nightmare on Elm Street is infinitely more rewatchable than any of the Jason movies, lol. Freddy is such a creepy but fun character to watch with his little one liners and quips. I also think the lore of him being murdered by the kids parents is also way more interesting.

So I've finished watching every Friday the 13th film, and unfortunately the entire franchise is dreadfully boring. Freddy vs Jason and the 2009 reboot were at least fun, but the bar was incredibly low. 🥲
