A new paper by our very own @lukasmogge.bsky.social and Julian Roeckert has just been accepted in JAERE! 📄

The study evaluates an anticipatory cash transfer program implemented during an extreme winter in Mongolia and discusses the importance and difficulties of research on humanitarian aid.
lukasmogge.bsky.social
New paper on anticipatory cash transfers to herders during an extreme winter in Mongolia. ACTs have significant positive effects for poorer recipients, not so much for the rest of our sample.

Personal learnings: Anticipatory action is promising. Targeting matters. More research is needed.
