As a European, it's extremely puzzling how Trump can be president when you have people like Gavin Newsom. Is fear and fascism really that powerful? are so many people really that susceptible? Trump is an idiot, but the people who vote for him scares me.
As non US citizen standing outside, looking in.... you need to hit the brakes now or it will be too late. You need to mobilize all democratic forces and stop this madness. It might not come for free and it might have a steep price, but the price will never be lower than today. #onyourside
I totally understand that, i see the war as black and white, clear boundaries between who is right and who is wrong. I support Ukraine, both morally and financially as much as I can. We are many who cares, never give up. You are the beacon of a free world.
This is exactly why Europe and any western aligned countries cannot regard the US as an allied anymore. The US does what the US does without regard as to who wins and loses. The most terrifying part is that the US don't seem to be aware that their actions also hurt themselves.
I know this will split opinions, but to me, Trump is the perfect example of why abortions should be allowed up until the fetus reaches age of around 80 years.
I try not to idolize, everyone has flaws and everyone has greatness. However one person, I dare to look up to. Dont distract from the fact that your president forces Europe to focus on two fronts. Not that european politicians are flawless, and they could have done more the last 3 years, but so could the US and currently you are being the great unknown. Both in regards to Ukraine, but also greenland etc.
Same here, but it's always interesting to hear where the help is most needed. Help99 is convenient and gives certainty the help doesn't end in the hands of a russian troll.
I hope you're right. I don't have a crystal ball, so Starsky, what can ordinary people do to make sure the outcome is in favor of Ukraine, Europe and justice? Slava Ukraini and ruin to wankers everywhere. I believe a lot of people want to help but is uncertain of where to get bang for their effort.

He brought nothing to the table even though he claimed to end the war in 24h. I believe noone's surprised and now he's just gaslighting.

On an more serious note, I'm happy that he is taking a hardliner stance against Putin. However, my hopes go up when we see anything consequential
