Sad news. David Ball, from Soft Cell, passed away last night. He'd been battling ill health, and Marc Almond told me that he had to drop out of the US Soft Cell tour because of it. They were instrumental in starting the British Invasion of the 80s.He will be terribly missed.

IMO, what's really mean is convincing the city council to change the layoff rules to fire a bunch of people who devoted their lives to building a great city and then give the police 15% raises while secretly hoping to fund our own cop city in the bonds up for a vote
