Not only WrightBrothersDay today but also the anniversary of the first flight of the DC-3 Dakota on this day in 1935. Here is a 1945 built model wearing PanAm colours arriving at Prestwick Airport after having flown the Atlantic en route to the 75th D-Day commemorations in France.
