'Sunset Blaze' put on a stellar show this year. it bloomed for four weeks straight! So many gorgeous flowers. It is a fantastic garden plant.

This dwarf bearded iris popped into bloom here this morning from who knows where. It is with some Indian Chief iris. Only think I can think of is the seller inadvertently included this little beauty.
Don't know how it arrived, but i do know that I love it!

How neat! I have some that didn't even come ip last year, but this year they are up and the hyacinth are blooming. Have my fingers crossed for the rest.

We lost our beautiful, brash, inquisitive, single-minded, and determined Itsy last week to cancer. Thankful to have her for thirteen years. She was a force of nature, and even with the other dogs, the house feels empty. So are our hearts.
