Simon Sinek and Trevor Noah had a really insightful talk on YT about this situation, too. Basically, “vigilante justice” (i.e. violence) is inevitable when you set up the healthcare system to be predatory and unjust, with no possible recourse.

What image comes to mind when you read the word "gamer"? If you immediately pictured a young man white-knuckling a controller hours into a Fortnite session, you may need to update your priors. According to a 21-country survey by the Entertainment Software Association, women make up 52% of U.S. gamers, while 22% of gamers are over 65 years old. (Male gamers still outnumber women globally, but not by much.) Americans prize puzzle games above all other genres, the study found, and overwhelmingly prefer to play on mobile devices.

As someone raised super religious, the idea that humans are “inherently bad” was drilled into me from an early age. Ppl talked as if we had to fight against some default evil baked into our very being. But that was one message I could never buy into.
