We should run the appropriations bill process like a papal conclave. Both houses locked down 24/7 until they can agree on how to fund the government. Their salaries should be suspended, and they should only get to eat what can be obtained through SNAP benefits.

Ya know how LLMs don’t actually know anything and only predict the next most likely “correct” answer? I bet a lot of people are okay with that because that’s how they also think social interactions are supposed to work. To them, it’s only about pushing the right buttons to get what they want.
No but forreal. What did they think they were doing that would actually accomplish that? Were they aware of what Steam actually is?
"We never validated our core assumptions before investing heavily in solutions. The truth is that gamers already had the solution to their problems, and they weren't going to switch platforms just because a new one was available," a former Amazon exec said earlier this year.
As Amazon's game business crumbles, the public is surprised to discover that it was trying to compete with Steam all this time
If you're wondering how it all went so wrong, former VP Ethan Evans might be able to shed some light on things.

Christmas and New Year's are both on a Thursday this year, which. That whole week is gonna be shot.
I know she's a nepo baby, and her name is the first part of the actual headline. But it still annoys me that they namedrop her dad like it's the first reason we should care about this.
If they wanted middle class consumption, they shouldn’t have nuked the middle class. I support canceling Q4 for the corporations this year. Buy nothing, celebrate only with what we already have. We don’t need them as much as they need us.
Nobody can achieve anything on their own. American individualism exists to convince the masses that they shouldn’t band together against those in power - who have their wealth and privilege built on the backs of commoners.
Yall it is not possible for all of us to be in Group 7. Unless there actually is ONLY Group 7.
If I wasn’t soulbound to this house I bought in Connecticut, I would absolutely have thought about moving to Canada.

TRON THE FRANCHISE WAS NOT THE PROBLEM, DISNEY. THE SETTING WAS NOT THE PROBLEM.
With the streaming landscape being increasingly enshittified, I think there's gonna be a resurgence in demand for physical media. I'm already looking to invest in more blurays myself.
Obviously we can already do that just with MP4 files. But I'm assuming publishers and studios want something with a shiny menu for the normies, with a form that discourages piracy, while balancing fidelity with compatibility across devices.
Has anyone thought of a new media format that uses SD cards to store entire box sets of TV shows?
I felt the need to see her with my own eyes.

The 100 lowest-paying US corporations spent $644B on stock buybacks from 2019 to 2024.

Buybacks artificially boost share prices and inflate CEO pay.

The typical worker at these companies earned $35k last year.

Meanwhile, the average CEO was paid $17.2M

See the problem?
The final season was nonsensical Riverdale nonsense. Which of course it was.
