Friends, when you listen to Pachelbel’s Canon in D, what occasion do you think of?

Internet, is there someone out there who makes something look like clamshell iBooks from the 90s? Maybe a manufactured shell for a Raspberry Pi, or STLs, or whatever? I would love to have that.

"Liking" ❤️ a comment/message, and replying with a ❤️, are two separate categories of emotion.

Before even going into 2025, I already knew which games would make my year and I was right.
Curiously, I don’t feel the same about next year. There’s a handful of interesting ones, but nothing I absolutely MUST play. It might actually be a year to get through my backlog.

The silver lining is that nothing important was announced. Literally a weird old man yelling.

I’m going through a very Check Engine Light time in my life

I trust industry folks who play a wide variety of games, and understand what it takes to make them, to know what makes a good one. Better than random dudes who play like one game and get their opinions from twitch streamers.

The other thing wonderful about watching The Game Awards live is getting to take part in mass cultural moments again, but in a non-traumatic way.

Well, there you go. Shocking absolutely no one, actual Game of the Year #expedition33 wins The Game Awards’ Game of the Year.
A great achievement, not in just scale or breadth of content or sales numbers, but in showcasing what it means to say that video games are an art form.

People who participate livechats with several thousands users. How? Why?

I don't know how secure 2-factor authentication can be if I still have to say the numbers out loud in order to type it in on another screen.

We never wanted to grow up. We wanted to be respected and treated seriously, and loved for who we are. It’s sad that so many of us still don’t have that, but are left with all the baggage that comes with it.

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

The absolute most hilarious thing is how Google Gemini ads feature people asking questions that could be better answered by a human. “What present should I buy for my wife?” Talk to your fucking wife too psycho.

I miss when Pixar used to do original movies. Instead of fourth sequels.

Freedom of speech also means it’s okay to just not say anything sometimes. It’s worth considering for a lot of you.

It’s an odd challenge to just not buy anything at all. I’m holding off this entire week, though. Black Week or whatever is canceled.

Hey, artist. I love your work.

Listen. Listen. You can throw away those old paint bottles. There is no more paint in them. They’re crusty and taking up space.

Let go.

I need us all to just skip to the part where conservatives claim they’ve been against the blatant corruption of this government all along.

Glen Powell did surprisingly well at SNL. He brings a lot of great energy. I think actually I’d want to see him in like a dungeon and dragons thing, maybe with Deborah Anne Woll.

What do you mean Trader Joe’s came out with a frozen Filipino Chicken Adobo? The most hilarious thing is it’s not actually hard to make it, at scale even. And it should freeze pretty well. So I have no fucking idea what they thought they were doing.
