Ruraria the game itself I'm still figuring out, but there is going to be a difference in how it's played compared to Suburb. There isn't a Chess battlefield for one, and the storyline is more akin to Problem Sleuth I think.

The MidDay Crew: A small ragtag gang of lowblood trolls wearing masks and getting into conflict against highbloods, targetting the violet BQ and her gang in particular.

SS is an oddity due to wearing candyred in his attire, but people assumed he's burgundy when he's not.

His caretaker is stressed.

Now here are the troll kids who will play their own games. Their session was a mess due to the conflict of how they're raised in their brooding planet:

Alternia (Violence): SS, HB, DD, CD, BQ
Beforus (Peace): MP, AR, WV, PM, WQ

DOC is an outlier and the connector, resides in a green asteroid.

Beta and Alpha trolls exist, but they all became ancestors who lived conflicting lives as Beforus and Alternia became separate brooding planets inhabiting the same galaxy. The two fuchsia empresses hate how one or the other governs their respective troll populations with either violence or kindness.

The trolls do exist! And they can talk to them- but the world they originate from is incredibly different from Homestuck Canon.

The focal point of the AU is to swap who plays the games, the biological plays and the ectobiological sets up the stage for them to start.

Only James and Jonas are connected biologically to the game with one of their parents born from ectobiology. Fred knows the Striders as a neighbor in Texas prior to moving. Chel knows the Lalondes from working Skaianet as an intern.

Jonas is a prankster and James is a baker/detective.

This version of Sburb has no way to scratch. As the kids were born biologically (James and Jonas are cousins). This means they got one chance to win.

These kids meet in a chat client called SeriousBuzzinez. A client that advertises to kids on being adult (and boring business).

Homestuck swap AU that focuses on Dad Egbert/Crocker, FedoraFreak, 2Busy4Dis, and a cat playing an alternate game of Sburb called Ruraria.

The alpha and beta kids still exist, but the meteors changed directories and they landed at the same time as their ecto-parent.

It's a mess.
