Trying to decide what palate cleanser I want to paint next. I feel like I should paint some of my vintage 90s stuff, but I might just have to do the all plastic Grey Knights so I can enjoy the simplicity of metallics.

Another barrage of mid-tier photos but it's a second EPIC army completed for the year, this time my Orks. Much like my Tyranids, I have a ton of models left I can add (and I forgot to include my Slasha Gargant), but this is plenty for now #oldhammer #epic40k

I don't know how modern 40k players play it with how fucking boring the tables are. I just saw a photo of a decent tournament - 25 identical tables. Comp wargaming is just the worst form of wargaming for me.

I wish people were OK with not liking the music in video games. I have been super enjoying #Warframe, but it feels like I need to be sycophantic about their songs to not get looked down on. Was even worse with #FFXIV. Let people discuss without lying, be OK with different tastes. That's art.

Just spent NZ$440 on some on sprue models from 1990. Sounds like a lot. But then I look at Legions Imperialis battle forces costing that much for fewer models and I'm like no, no, this is perfectly fine as a price point, and I much prefer little biker dwarves.

My post-Christmas end of year army is done in very speedy fashion. I enjoyed trusting the process and pushing simple contrast on these very small Epic miniatures for use in 2e Epic/NetEpic as Hive Fleet Behemoth. Now I need to paint some blue lads to fight #epic40k #oldhammer #miniaturewargaming

Still haven't decided on my summer project. It won't be a vintage army, since I'm finishing up my Space Wolves first (hopefully before Christmas?). So that leaves middlehammer Grey Knights, Flames of War Finns, Tomb Kings, or Warriors of Chaos. Oh, I guess Battletech too? Decision paralysis.
