Holy shit I though ARK had just given up on me recently, but no turned out it was a cyber attack on steam!

Holy fuck I almost lost my sanity cause I've been trying my best to speed through the game while I've got it somewhat working!!

Can confirm it's both broken on levels in official maps and the non beta version doesn't work, the menu crashes

Side note i've had ARK for a while, but it wasn't untill my current PC that I was able to play it as my old one couldn't handle it

I joined in on the fun late and may have suffered because of it

I love this game. It's my most played game at 852 hours, which is impressive considering thats all messing about as I have NEVER beaten a single boss in the entire game

I would hate for the moment I decide to finally lock in be screwed up by something no one was asking for

The only way I could work around this is to dedicate a free map to collecting high level dinos to transfer over to official ones, but with maps like Aberration where the Obelisk is on the surafce (a late game area), this plan is not entirely worth it

I'm doing a last ditch effort in reinstalling this massive game (it will take hours on my internet speed), but if nothing works, the base game and the official DLC I spent money on and have yet to properly experience will be broken for good

Since then I was messing around on the free DLC maps, I was too bummed out to go back to the official maps for a while

I just tried to go back, and no matter what troubleshooting I do, the dino levels are broken, when they weren't before and I havn't touched my settings at all

Rant about a different game this time: ARK Survival Evolved

When Aquatica was released, my two save files I was progressing well on a a more casual ARK player (The Island and Aberration), were corrupted and lost, and that was devastating in of itself

Honestly I want to distance myself from the wuwa community, because the constant complaining and jumping to conclusions is driving me nuts

People have already decided 2.7 is a bad patch when its not even out yet!?

Enjoying a game doesn't equal needing to spend hours daily on it

You can enjoy life outside of the game in-between updates

Stop feeling as if you need to dedicate your life to a gacha game. Believe me, I've been there and I felt trapped, now I can do other things and not feel like I'm missing out

Imagine you get your wish though, for enough daily content plus extra stuff to do that takes a good 2-3 hours to do

I can 100% guarantee people would get burnt out from wuwa. They'd develop worse sleep schedules trying to fit anything else around wuwa when they are working full time job

SO DOES HOYOGAMES WHEN YOUR ALL CAUGHT UP!!

Speaking from experience from HSR, the gameplay loop is the same, busy in updates, nothing when waiting

Unless you pace yourself, this is the loop live service games gives you

Why are people unhappy that wuwa has quick dailies?

I like that it's quick, it means between updates I get the chance to focus on other games, do art or touch grass

I know for a fact if I was working full time and only had limited time, I wouldn't want to spend a good chunk of it doing dailies

When I say back to back, I MEAN IT!!!

Iuno was guaranteed after losing the 50/50 with Augusta, but I NEVER though Ciaconna would show up ONE PULL LATER!!

I got Iuno's weapon too, I'll use all my Astrites left in 2.6 to see if Ciaconna's weapon comes home too, if not I do a have F2P option

Books, especially ones that based on the covers and blurb, that look like they are for young adults, should ALWAYS state if they have 18+ material in them

I love having books that are clean and allow me to get lost in the immersion of a fictional setting

If I want spice, I'll got to AO3

I prefer fantasy / mythology with little to no romance, plus I didn't sign up for 18+ scenes

I'm not denying that I can sometimes be a little degenerate, but thats of my own accord, I don't like it being shoved in my face, especially without warning

What I found was that the book has explicit 18+ scenes later on, which I was never warned about, even though my mother's partner has also read these books

I've now put these books ready to be taken back to his place, because I don't want to read them anymore
