Trump keeps falsely claiming inflation is “gone” as new reports show it rising. He’s backpedaling on releasing the Sept. 2 boat-strike video he said he’d share. China’s trade surplus is soaring despite his tariffs. Meanwhile, Jasmine Crockett launches her Senate bid and Jimmy Kimmel re-ups with ABC.

This is a perfect example as to why we need AI regulation yesterday.

AI cannot be the arbiter of whether human beings can live or die. This is an excuse for insurance companies to fire human workers and make our healthcare system even more nightmarish for a quick buck.

private AI companies that get paid based on how many claims they deny..."

Thousands of Washington state Medicare users could soon have claims denied by AI

Nancy Mace slams her party’s fear-driven leadership, farmers blame Trump’s tariffs, and Guatemala burns his effigy. Ukraine rejects his Russia-friendly proposal, and a hot mic catches him whining about blocked appointments. Now Congress is freezing Pentagon travel funds. MAGA takes more Ls.

Alina Habba quits after disqualification, Hope Walz scorches Don Jr., Bernie touts new Medicare for All momentum, and Trump appears with makeup and Band-Aids at the Kennedy Center—another day of political drama exposing cracks in MAGA’s façade.

The Labor Dept. scrapping the PPI report raises alarms, ACA approval among independents hits record highs, an ICE-raid tracking app sues the U.S. over censorship, and voters split sharply on Israel aid and what counts as antisemitism.

Trump erupts at MTG and CBS, demanding an apology over her 60 Minutes interview. Colin Allred pivots to run in TX-33 after GOP gerrymandering. And Aftyn Behn, despite a narrow loss, is energized—her huge overperformance in a once-solid red seat is a win for Democrats.

Rumor has it the House GOP is in meltdown with up to a potential 20 retirements looming. Abroad, Trump’s “peace deals” keep collapsing as Thailand launches airstrikes on Cambodia, claiming retaliation for Cambodian gunfire at the border — which Cambodia denies.

Congressional Democrats’ warning to the military has public backing—49% approve, 42% oppose. And Trump eyeing Youngkin to replace Noem at DHS signals more chaos. Voters are tired of his authoritarian impulses and mounting economic failures.

MTG says many Republicans privately criticize and don’t respect Trump. His approval keeps sliding as the economy sours, and beef prices just hit an all-time high. The cracks inside the GOP are getting harder to hide.

Layoffs are nearing Great Recession levels, Trump’s tariffs are driving costs up, and even Nick Fuentes is calling his administration a disaster. Democrats lead the generic ballot +4, and Trump is stuck at 43% approval. With the economy faltering, voters are clearly shifting away from the GOP.

Colin Jost’s SNL cold open torched Pete Hegseth and Trump alike, portraying Hegseth as unhinged amid war-crimes scandals and snapping at reporters, while Trump snoozed through most of the briefing. The skit’s relentless mockery of both men delivered one of the season’s sharpest political hits.

Trump keeps taking Ls. MTG says he blew up at her for backing release of the Epstein files, CBS finds no evidence for his $20T investment claims, massive layoffs are hitting major industries, and Jimmy Kimmel is roasting his sinking approval numbers.

Huge warning signs for Trump: 84% of ACA enrollees want tax credits extended—including 72% of Republicans—while his approval is underwater in most swing states.

Trump’s ICE crackdown is spiraling: a Somali American citizen assaulted, a New Yorker wrongly detained then released, an elderly Trump supporter calling 911 on a delivery driver for speaking Spanish, and violent standoffs from Elgin to Louisiana. This isn’t law and order — it’s chaos.

A Cinnabon worker in Wisconsin was filmed harassing a Somali couple, mocking a woman’s hijab and using slurs before bragging about being racist. After the video gained traction, the franchise fired her, calling her behavior disturbing and against everything the brand stands for.

Even Trump’s own voters are souring on the economy: 37% say the cost of living is the worst they’ve ever seen, 31% see fewer opportunities, and 29%—even non-MAGA voters—say Trump had his chance to fix things and didn’t take it.

Epstein’s Manhattan palace was a gaudy shrine to power — stuffed tiger, Lolita first edition, bizarre décor, even what seems like a Trump portrait. Now Trump’s turning the Oval into a replica: same gold-plated excess, same unsettling energy, same predator aesthetic.

Kyle Kulinski nails the hypocrisy: MAGA screams about “drug trafficking” abroad while cheering Trump pardoning a Honduran cocaine kingpin, and they bash welfare for struggling Americans but happily embrace billions in corporate handouts. Priorities completely upside-down.

Senate Democrats roasted the GOP’s “2025 Wrapped”: soaring costs, tax breaks for the rich, rising healthcare prices, rural clinics closing, and gutted services. Sabrina Carpenter ratioed the White House into deleting their post, and Biden delivered a heartfelt message of love to LGBTQ youth.
