She’s decided Nina needs a dose of “grounding” and “together time,” so she’s dressed Nina in a matching set consisting her own black apron, bandana tied around her head, a fitness band on both wrists, and a pair of borrowed comfy shoes (a size too big). Mira insists they look “absolutely adorable” together. From kneading dough to reorganizing the spice rack to scrubbing the balcony tiles, Mira’s beaming the entire time. Nina, meanwhile, in her teenage mind is trapped in a wholesome nightmare humiliated but too far in to escape without triggering the full mom guilt trip.
