I'm mostly trying to distract myself... I keep catching myself looking for her or doing routines that involve her only to realize she's not there. It's hard.

Tabi, my cat of 17 1/2 years, passed away yesterday.
It was incredibly sudden, quick and... honestly kind of traumatic.
I'm devastated but as awful as it was, I'm glad I was with her at the end. I will miss her so much.

Finally, FINALLY got a new phone. The Pixel 4a I had for the last 5-6 years was great but a software update absolutely killed the battery life on it. Good on Google for once though, they gave me 120EUR discount on a new phone because of that AND let me trade in the old one!
