Being a woman involves so much theatre in the same ways that being black does

I knew camera surveillance didn’t work cuz we had them when I was growing up and my dad still couldn’t figure out it was my sister baby daddy at her window the night he saw someone in the backyard and shot at him from the back door 🧍🏾‍♀️

Read about this in They Were Her Property, I already had an inkling of white women’s role in slavery just from reading historical fictions by bw and black women being wet nurses but that book detailed how white women were often just as cruel as their fathers, brothers, husbands, etc in that time
An economist you all should be following yesterday is @trevondlogan.bsky.social: Economic historian, one of the smartest people I know, and a genuinely interesting researcher.

One of my favorite studies by him debunks the myth that white women were passive observers of slavery. #blackhistorymonth
American slavery wasn’t just a white man’s business

Choose better women
This is more a Twitter thing i'm bringing here but my experience is that alot of women want a man that will finance them while they live their live and if you can't afford their bills then you're not a "real man"
