Beliefs are like shoes. Mine fit me, not you, but that doesn't make your feet bad. Old shoes fall apart. New shoes need breaking in.
One small step each day, no matter the setbacks, no matter how long the road seems. Every breath a fresh opportunity to try again.

Healing is when you stop telling the story that broke you, and start living the story that rebuilt you.

“Vipassana is a way of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body, which can be experienced directly by disciplined attention to the physical sensations that form the life of the body….”

Life is as stable as a sheet of glass on a snowy hilltop.
It’s not so important whether we label “Buddhism” as a religion or not (though for many people, it is one). The important part is experiencing for oneself the benefit of actually putting Dharma/Dhamma into practice in our lives. We can see that this benefits self and others. Best wishes.
In this world of blame and fame, best to understand both as fleeting and not worth clinging to.
Every single person who ever walked the Earth
experienced this very same in-breath, this out-breath,
same sun, same moon,
same birth, old age, sickness, death.
All the most enlightened people share this with you,
and all the fools.
You are not alone in what you are going through.
Sympathy abounds.
That peace and happiness you seek is available right here and now, believe it or not.
Through self-help, we help others. In helping others, we help ourselves.

Distraction can become an addiction for one who doesn’t pay attention.
This breath is a voice we might seldom hear, always with us, expressing our felt reality with natural wisdom, constantly speaking to us. Try taking a moment to listen.
We alone are responsible for our own state of mind. Life is full of challenges, misery, slights, injuries, provocations — there’s no avoiding it. May we be empowered through meeting all this fully aware, with intentional self-care, and by doing the right thing.
Risk is an illusion bound up with fear and desire. Never fear doing the right thing.
