Meet Nettie M. (Nethery) Keirstead. What is her story? Why did she marry at age 16? What caused her death? I hope that her life was a happy one, but I have my doubts.

Nettie M. Nethery married Hazen W. Keirstead on 28 Feb 1892 in Webster, Park County, Colorado.

She was the daughter of John Nethery, born 22 Jun 1826 in either Ireland or Scotland and died 14 Jun 1901 in the Hartman Sanatorium, Montrose County, Colorado, and Mary McLaren Nethery, born March 1829 in Glasgow, Scotland, and died 11 Dec 1901 in Leadville, Lake County, Colorado.

Nettie had a twin sister, Minnie, and she was the younger sister of Sheriff Russell Nethery of Park County and later Elko County, Nevada.
