Aside from justice for the survivors, aside from the imperative that powerful abusers should face equal justice, the release of the Epstein files is also important to help the Republican barnacles encrusted on Trump's boat to detach themselves. Will they finally free themselves?

The ultimate goal of the billionaire takeover is to exploit and dominate the rest of the people so that they become our overlords and we the serfs. Religion has often been twisted to justify oppression. I don't care if Thiel+Vance truly believe. They are arch manipulators.

We let them win these fights: Gore, Justice Barrett, so many edges ahead that have accumulated to our country going way out of whack. Now, democracy itself is being smashed. Perhaps now finally we will learn to fight every battle.

The market system cannot fulfill all of society's goals, so in modern societies the gov't takes up slack. A flourishing public sector acts where the market fails: supplies safety nets, education for all, national defence, a clean earth. Can call it "socialism" but it's intelligent collective action.

So far the Russian drones are unarmed, but they gather info on our reactions. Plus, they want to scare Europeans to keep their own arms rather than send them to Ukraine. Russia is weakening, so it needs to bluster and intimidate to maintain its image as a world power. Shoot down every intrusion.

In France, some municipalities have returned water works to public control after mismanagement of private companies. Privatisation of public goods is a loss for the public unless actively regulated. It's a cash cow otherwise.

Another day and Republicans continue to look the gift horse in the mouth. They have no future if they persist in trashing We the People with unaffordable heath care insurance, hospital shut downs, and erasing health care for 15 to 20 million people. Take the Dems gift and reinstate health care!

We need to defossilize energy, chemistry, industry, and green hydrogen is key to those goals. The rest of the world is moving forward on this, slowly, since the costs are not down enough yet. As usual, Trump's ignorance is limiting his vision of the future.

Sad to see this deterioration of EPA water standards that will lead to more cancers and many wondering how they got cancer. Our country has lost its moral compass. Public health is in shambles.

The Russian drones swirling above the EU are unarmed so far. Russia is testing limits, testing reactions, testing capacity to react. Meanwhile, the West, though broadly superior militarily to Russia, has fallen behind in cheaper, more flexible drone warfare. All European countries need to catch up.

Bondi's mission in the Senate hearings was to insult every Democrat with irrelevant or fabricated arguments, defend Trump, and praise Trump. That points to her interpretation of her job: attack Trump's "enemies." She's more a pitbull than an AG. The law+facts irrelevant for her.

Trump+the Republicans in Congress seem oblivious to the gift the Dems are handing them. The only way they can survive politically is to agree to the health care demands of Dems to protect Americans, and thus stop the shut down. Fox propaganda won't be able to conceal Rs damage to the working class.

We all know that many of Trump's appointees come from Fox. Bondi's performance yesterday in front of the Senate show that the opposite flow is possible. Not a competent AG, she could slander Dems for hours as well as anyone on Fox. Her next job?

La Bondi has mastered the art of the non-answer under a thick layer of irritated condescension. Hard to tell in any instance if she is defensive about not wanting her ignorance to show, or whether she just hates the Demon Democrats (as she thinks of us) for not swallowing her BS.

What work is there for them to do when they just turn off their brains and follow orders from Trump? Even Vance has nothing to do but go on vacation. Repubs gave up the Congress to Trump on a platter. They're coasting to the finish line, looking forward to a rigged election.

Internet cut-off is the sad ultimate conclusion of propaganda gone mad. This isolates the Russian people even more and lessens their ability to obtain information that contradicts Putin's lies.
