Feels to me like the last quote here is more devastating and incriminating than even the birthday book and the photos and the rest.
These are the people who are willing to go on the record.

You’ve heard a thousand takes on Canada.
This one starts with a TV show about a dog.

My keynote speech on Canadian identity, quiet courage, and why Canada survives by sticking together.

It ends with a direct challenge for you:
“Which one will you be?”

Relentless Decency: Tod Maffin Keynote Speech
You’ve heard Canadians described a thousand ways, usually by people trying to sell us something. This talk starts... with a dog. With a show that broke every TV rule, and somehow still explains what…

Congratulations, Governor Newsom, for winning the Canadian Peace Prize! 🇨🇦Please enjoy your $50 Timmies gift card, jug of maple syrup, big bucket o’ poutine, and a kissable cod. A Mountie will be by in a few weeks — depending on how fast their horse is — to deliver your prize.

Every year around this time, I think, “I don’t think I can do winter this year.“ Then I remember I’m Canadian and pull on my big-girl (fleece-lined) pants, complain about the weather with friends and neighbours, then get on with the business of being Canadian.

We are aware of intelligence reports suggesting that a certain iceberg off our coast is being eyed by the Trump regime, after they pirated a Venezuelan oil tanker.

We are resolute in our defense of icebergs and any attempt to “grab” it will result in swift destruction. -PM Tuxley II

Hey, has anyone tried unplugging the United States and then plugging it in again?

Please take note. I have seen an elderly person get knocked off their feet by an E bike rider who didn’t even look to see if she was hurt before taking off. It’s only a matter of time before they kill someone.
E-bikes are a growing danger on U.S. streets. In one California town, a 15-year-old's shocking crash was the "light switch" moment that led officials to respond. nyti.ms/4pKAJcp

Sadly, it’s the perfect choice for 2025. 🫤
Oxford University Press has chosen “rage bait” as its 2025 Word of the Year. The open-compound word, which beat out “biohack” and “aura farming,” goes back at least to 2002. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/30/a...

Well, Drug Fraud is at it again. Now you get to pay a deposit on wine & liquor bottles, but you don’t get to collect it when you return them. So what is this? Everyone repeat after me: what is a new tax that isn’t a tax according to the corrupt Ford government? Temu Trump is at it again! 🤬

The Conservatives have launched their Charlie Kirk imitation tour.
In a fluff piece, CBC casually mentions that it it supported by youth from a group demanding the forcible deportation of millions from Canada.
CBC presents it as "counter culture."
No.
That's hate.
